Empowering Our Students

Each student's day includes an interactive, hands-on study in math, reading, writing, science, and social studies instruction as well as physical education, recess, art, music, phonics, Spanish and Bible time. Children learn in a variety of ways and at Kids' Zone Christian Academy, we teach to our student's individual learning style through kinesthetic, visual and auditory experiences. 

Students participate in small group instruction and in spiraling review of topics each day during our literacy and math balanced literacy and guided math blocks.

Kids' Zone Christian Academy uses a Christian-based Curriculum geared towards empowering students to reach their individual potential. The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) is our guide for each grade level academic area. While not a requirement of private schools, at Kids' Zone we choose to incorporate TEKS in order to assure that our students are learning above and beyond what they experience in public school.

Kids' Zone Christian Acadmy also offers a study of positive charter traits. Our focus Character Trait of the month will be incorporated throughout lessons during our instructional day; including Bible-based discussion, philanthropic opportunities, and engaging hands-on learning activities. We will discuss what it means to possess each trait and encourage incorporation of the traits in our daily routines.
